IRR Waste2Energy has appointed a new commercial director to its team.

Alex Matthias, 49 from Rossendale, has joined the team at Worksop, Nottinghamshire and brings a wealth of experience in the energy management, recycling, and pyrolysis sector.

“IRR Waste 2 Energy is a company that has a clear vision and is well on its way to revolutionising the way company’s deal with waste and how that waste can be utilised to generate energy and other commodities,” said Alex. “I’m delighted to join the team and know that together we can make a real difference to so many businesses, and to local authorities, in how waste is managed and processed.”

During his career Alex has worked at a senior level in a variety of companies; pioneering and advancing technology and raising awareness.

IRR Waste2Energy is the commercial arm of IRR Manufacturing, a South African company which manufactures the pyrolysis technology, and which is owned by Carlton Forest Group Holdings.
